August 25, 2025

The Fred N. Binka School of Public Health at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has officially launched the NKABOM Project; a bold and exciting new initiative aimed at empowering young Africans.

This 10-year partnership, developed in collaboration with McGill University and the Mastercard Foundation under the Young Africa Works Program, seeks to equip 30 million young people across Africa with practical, skills-based training that can lead to meaningful and sustainable employment.

The 3-day launch programme marked by eventful activities was climaxed with an official ceremony on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the FNBSPH, Hohoe campus. The official launch programme brought together students, faculty and industry players.
