Dr. Bayo Yusuf Adenuga is a Dentist and Public Health Physician and currently a lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He was once a lecturer at Kintampo College of Health and UEW Mampong Campus where he taught Public Health and Dental Sciences.
Education
Dr. Adenuga had his medical and dental education at the University of Ibadan Nigeria in 1991 and later pursued an MPhil in Community Health from the same university in 2009. He had a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Complete Safety Institute/ International Board of Environmental Health& Safety, USA in 2014.
Work experience
After graduation in 1991, he started work in Nigeria and practiced as a Dental Surgeon until 2000 when he joined Ghana Health Service. He lectured at the College of Health Kintampo for a period of 4 years; he joined UHAS in 2015 as a lecturer.
Science/research output
Dr. Adenuga’s area of research is epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable disease, oral health and health systems management. He has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals on oral health, and quality of care in health facilities. He has also published books on sociology of health and health planning and management.
