Mr Ananga was appointed Lecturer in the Department of Population and Behavioural Sciences, School of Public Health, since July 2013. He was the founding Acting Head of Department, a position he occupied until December 2015.
Education
Prior to joining the School of Public Health, Mr. Ananga was a Research Executive with Marketing Support Consultancy as well as an Adjunct Lecturer with the Department of Human Development and Psychology, Regent University College of Science and Technology. He taught courses in Psychology, Health and Wellbeing, Community Entry and Organisation, Prevention and Health Education. He also supervised students at the undergraduate level. Mr Ananga is currently on a study leave pursuing a Doctorate Programme in Public Health with specialization in Reproductive Health. He is currently working on the role of social capital in sexual and reproductive health among the youth. He has published in peer-reviewed journals.
Work Experience
Mark Aviisah is currently PhD Candidate at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, Legon. He hold an MPhil in Developmental Psychology (2007) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a B.A. in Psychology with Information Studies (2004) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
